Late-breakers and special sessions announced

27 June 2019 (Geneva, Switzerland)– Today, the International AIDS Society (IAS) announced the late-breakers and special sessions, featuring highly anticipated research results on the year’s most pressing topics, that will headline the 10th IAS Conference on HIV Science (IAS 2019).   • New data on the possible risk of birth defects with dolutegravir (DTG)–based HIV treatment during pregnancy from Botswana and Brazil
  • Results of the first-ever human trial of a new PrEP implant
